my man only responds to extreme emotional out bursts. How can I make him respond to?
calm complaints? It is always the same thing. he will do something that upsets me to the point if he don't stop I will leave him.
Like for instance; he will get falling down drunk then take a weapon out and say he is going to tell off a noisy neighbor this is playing loud music at 3 am. I try to reason with him to put it away and just call the police. but a argument follows because he don't want to do it my way. I take it away and then he grabs a hunting bow. so then I argue with him about the bow & arrow and play tug of war taking it away from him.
so I have told him when he gets that drunk he is a danger and don't want him getting that drunk.
but then he does anyway. Then I say it again angrily. but then he gets that drunk again and the same thing happens. so this time I take a sword away from him and go ballistic on his ass telling him i will leave him. then he says, well i didn't think it was that big of a deal to you before. and when I say I told him I had a major problem with it, he says because i didn't scream and yell at him so he didn't think I was actually that upset over it.
Its always the same. I say it calmly but firmly but he brushes it off. I say it in a angered tone and he brushes it off. then only when I am screaming at him about it like a lunatic is when he responds.
please tell me how to get through to him with only a calm complaint.
oh and it doesn't seem to matter how I word my complaint, the result is the same.
